Hi.. a few days ago I mentioned on Facebook that I did the "Baby-Boomer" peel from one of my favorite skin care companies, Rhonda Allison (check out more info on peels here). That's me in the picture above with the final layer of the peel which is a yellow[ish] colored mask of Vitamin A (plus other special ingredients).
The main reason I prefer peels over microdermabrasion is that I can get very close to the under eye area, where the skin is thin and wrinkled-- usually the first sign of aging.
Microderm can only treat the outer wrinkles, known as "crows feet". The microdermabrasion protocol does not allow the machine to get close to anywhere around the eye area where so many fine lines and dark circles of the eye area are located!
Peels, on the other hand, can be applied very close to the under eye area giving your eye area and your entire skin fantastic renewal-results.
