SKIN TIP TUESDAY:

If you are living with or visiting an area with hard water that may have an abundance of minerals such as calcium or magnesium, the skin may become irritated, may itch and may look chapped. Dirt and makeup may become difficult to remove with hard water and small particles can remain in pores of the skin.


The face should be cleansed with a non-detergent cleanser, then thoroughly rinsed with club soda to neutralize any sensitizing agents remaining on the skin from cleansing with hard water. A club-soda-skin-rinse will also ensure the removal of ALL makeup, dirt, pollen, pollution, etc., from the skin.  


If club soda is not available, then rinse the skin two to three times with bottled water.
